THE BLACK SHEEP reflects the condition of moving from village life into the city. The headless sheep lying on its back represents a body that is still moving, but no longer functioning with ease or clarity. Within the rhythm of the city, rest becomes difficult and satisfaction through productivity remains out of reach.

Like the other works in BB (BUNNY BEHAVIOR), the sculpture emerges from blackness, blurring depth and form. Its shape can only be understood by walking around it.

The black surface also refers to the feeling of becoming an outsider: the “black sheep”, when entering a new social and urban environment.
