LIGHT ENCOUNTERS
Light has no body, yet it takes up space. Projected onto a castle, a staircase or a market, an image becomes a presence: a figure that dances, dives or disappears. Nothing in the room is alive, and still we move with it. This research works with light at the scale of architecture, where the viewer doesn't look at the work but walks into it. The encounter happens in the dark, between the light, the space and the body that enters it.
The fairies of the Sibilla myth return as a ghost-like dancer, moving through light and shadow in a newly restored castle.
